Just what is it about education that drives Singaporeans mad?

Had a chat with my South Korean colleague and we were just chatting about the emphasis that parents placed on education in Korea (and of course in Singapore).

Dude, I still wake up sometimes remembering that I haven't done my ten-year series for the previous day! (For those who don't know what a ten-year series is- it's basically past year exams questions....)

I don't think the below is as funny but I thought it showed the bias that Singapore society had for things foreign- especially education... it seems to be a rip-off from a Chinese movie but for the mind of me, I can't seem to recall which movie it is....
